Political Atheist

The information in this space does not necessarily represent the views of The Community News but of the writer.

(Before I inch forward, it has come to my attention that even though my regular readers are well aware of the fact that I’m NOTHING politically speaking and have even gone as far as registering as a “Political Atheist” at the courthouse, there are those who still don’t get it. Do NOT project your cult membership on to me! Just because you are stuck in the fake left/right paradigm and are a member of the political cult, does not mean others are. I will be putting this disclaimer in weekly now as I find that I must. People now feel free to TELEPHONE me at home to ask about my column, which is a bit creepy, to say the least. Do NOT “accuse” me of being a supporter of ANY of these hideous creatures we call “leaders,” please and thank you.)

This week I have a special guest columnist. He is someone I’ve mentioned here in this space on numerous occasions as of late. He was also a reference when the paper was online for a bit.

Jon is an investigative journalist who has been focusing on the three letter “health” agencies who are now “in charge” of deciding our fate, more or less—mainly more. I shall put part of his official biography below and then plunk the rest at the end of the piece.

This is all reprinted with express permission from the author. Actually, I was rather tickled to be granted such permission as he is quite renown. Of course, you will no longer see him on any corporate outlet but, believe it or not, he used to be welcome at those entities as his bio will show. Anything in “brackets” is mine as this bio is a few years old, at this point.

I only removed items from this piece that were not pertinent when it comes to reading this in a newspaper made of actual paper. In other words, this appeared in an online format. Things like, “To join our email updates, click here,” were removed. Other than that, it appears as he wrote it in a blog entry from last week.

Partial bio: Nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, Jon Rappoport has worked as an investigative reporter for 30 (plus) years, writing articles on politics, medicine, and health for CBS Healthwatch, LA Weekly, Spin Magazine, Stern, and other newspapers and magazines in the US and Europe. Jon has delivered lectures and seminars on global politics, health, logic, and creative power to audiences around the world.

As was mentioned above, more of his biography will be included after his guest column which begins right about here. (His articles are rather short and sweet, which I’m sure will come as a welcome relief to those who are generally held captive weekly. Of course I will more than make up for his brevity with my editorializing efforts!)

Dear humans: face masks don’t work; the study-review was published by your very own CDC by Jon Rappoport - July 20, 2020:

Alert to citizens, governors, mayors, presidents, prime ministers, and public health officials—

You want science. You always state that. Well, here is your very own science.

The reference is: “Nonpharmaceutical Measures for Pandemic Influenza in Nonhealthcare Settings—Personal Protective and Environmental Measures.” Published in: “Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vol.26, No. 5, May 2020.” (That journal is published by the CDC.)

I quote from the abstract: “Here, we review the evidence base on the effectiveness of non-pharmaceutical personal protective measures and environmental hygiene measures in non-health care settings and discuss their potential inclusion in pandemic plans. Although mechanistic studies [*] support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza. We similarly found limited evidence on the effectiveness of improved hygiene and environmental cleaning.”

Here are quotes from pages 970-972 of the review: “In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs [randomized controlled trials] that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community from literature published during 1946–July 27, 2018. In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks…”

“Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids… There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”

“In this review, we did not find evidence to support a protective effect of personal protective measures or environmental measures in reducing influenza transmission.”

“We did not find evidence that surgical-type face masks are effective in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza transmission, either when worn by infected persons (source control) or by persons in the general community to reduce their susceptibility…”

[*] In case you want to quibble about the value of what the authors refer to as “mechanistic studies,” the authors are correctly setting those studies off to the side, in favor of the material they preferred to examine: randomized controlled trials—which are widely considered to be more valuable, relevant, and meaningful.

So there you have it.

Your science.

Take off your masks. Governors and mayors and presidents and prime ministers, cancel the orders to wear masks. You’re non-scientific. In the extreme.

(Note the “wwwnc” — which is correct. It is not “www”.)

This is Lisa again: I highly recommend that you check out his website “No More Fake News” for his most recent post which is once again about the mask, or as I call it, “the costume,” scenario. (Mind you, his site was launched years prior to the president coming out with the “fake news” meme so please refrain from connecting the two.)

There is also an online “debate” between Robert F. Kennedy Junior and the disgusting gremlin known as Alan Dershowitz about this vaccine craze. I will give you the name of the YouTube site where this can be viewed. It was just published today, July 23, 2020.

In the video, Kennedy points out the fact that there have never been placebo tests for vaccines. Also, there is NO liability for the actual companies who make these things but there is a vaccine court that has paid out BILLIONS of YOUR money to vaccine injured families, etc. Don’t believe me though. I’m just a crazy nutter.

The name of the channel is “Valuetainment” and the video is titled: “Heated Vaccine Debate - Kennedy Jr. vs Dershowitz.” There is somewhat of a possibility that the video will be taken down because an open and honest discussion about the topic is NOT permitted in this day and age. Anyone who goes against the stream on this one is marginalized, demonized and is basically called names.

Now for the rest of the Rappoport biography: In 1982, the LA Weekly submitted his name for a Pulitzer prize, for his interview with the president of El Salvador University, where the military had taken over the campus.

Jon has hosted, produced, and written radio programs and segments in Los Angeles and Las Vegas (KPFK, KLAV). He has appeared as a guest on over 200 radio and television programs, including ABC’s Nightline, Tony Brown’s Journal (PBS), and Hard Copy.

In 1994, Jon ran for a seat in the US Congress from the 29th district in Los Angeles. After six months of campaigning, on a very small budget, he garnered 20 percent of the vote running against an incumbent who had occupied his seat for 20 years.

In 1996, Jon started The Great Boycott, against eight corporate chemical giants: Monsanto, Dow, Du Pont, Bayer, Hoechst, Rhone-Poulenc, Imperial Chemical Industries, and Ciba-Geigy. The Boycott continues to operate today.

Jon has lectured extensively all over the US on the question: Who runs the world and what can we do about it?

Since launching NoMoreFakeNews.com in 2000 (note: the 2000 – 2009 archive is [to be re-instated]), Jon has operated largely away from the mainstream because, as he puts it, “My research was not friendly to the conventional media.”
