SPRINGBORO - Come in and see our newest additions to “SPL”. We have the latest in every genre’. This week’s new books include best selling authors such as Jonathan Kellerman and Jude Deveraux. We also have an abundance of Halloween themed books for all ages. And don’t forget your favorite horror flicks to cozy up with popcorn and friends (or just a blanket and cocoa).

We had our first Harry Potter escape room. The evening was fun for all. Come sign up at our main desk for the next one on Oct. 29th. Or sign up for one of our craft workshops. The next workshop will be on Thursday, Oct. 18. We will be making more Autumn holiday decor.

Also planned for October is our first coding class. See our main desk for details and sign ups.

Check out magazines, movies, music CDs, play aways and books on CD. We have a variety of materials for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. In addition, our children’s corner features books, games and toys. Join us for pre-school story hour on Saturday mornings at 10 am and for kid’s activities at 11 am.

Remember to LIKE us on facebook and check out our website. The website offers a variety of reference materials which are perfect for students of all ages who are writing papers for school. The website’s “power library” includes references, bibliographies and related articles on chosen topics. There are also a variety of e-books and free access to universal classes for over 500 subjects!

CONNEAUTVILLE - Are you looking for a job? Do you need help getting a resume together or updated? Looking for tips for a job interview? On Thursday, October 11, at 6:30 p.m., the library is offering a class for adults to sharpen their skills and to be prepared for the job market. This program is open to adults, age 16 and over. If you are interested, please call to sign up.

October is turning out to be a busy month so far! There have been many new faces at Storytime this year. If you enjoy stories, crafts, and snacks be sure to join us at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday mornings. We would like to get to know you, too.

We also have a “Financial Literacy” program coming up on Monday, October 22, at 6:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for families to gain more understanding about budgeting and making the best use of the funds they have. If this is an area you need some assistance call and sign up for the program.

“One Thousand White Women” by Jim Fergus is the book we are reading for our next book club. Book Club meets Thursday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m. You are welcome to join us.

Legos will be meeting on Saturday the 13th of October. This is an opportunity for you to bring a friend and come to the library and have fun! We meet at 10:00 a.m.
