CONNEAUTVILLE - Saturday, January 26, you will want to join us for a new activity – Doodle Pens! Draw in the air! Doodle anything in 3D with the 3Doodler pen. Lift your imagination off the page! The 3Doodler works by extruding heated plastic that cools almost instantly into a solid, stable structure, allowing for the free-hand creation of three-dimensional objects.Please call the library at 587-2142 to sign up.

Tax season has arrived. Pennsylvania will not be providing any print forms for you to file. You are encouraged to file online. Federal forms are ordered but have not arrived.

Storytime continues on Tuesdays at 10:00. Our theme has been “snow”. This week we puff-painted and ice cream was our treat. If you have the opportunity you should join us.

There are many events planned for February. We will once again be having our annual “Reading Challenge” for adults. The contest will run for 6 weeks and you can enter to win a “Thirty One” gift bag filled with gift cards and prizes.

Stone Memorial Library has been adding new books, movies, and new programs to keep the community engaged in their life long learning. We are excited to see people taking advantage of the different programs we are offering.

Springboro Library happenings

SPRINGBORO - Curl up with a good book through these cold winter nights. Come in and find a good book to hibernate with.

Check out the new book shelves for the latest from best selling authors. This week we are featuring new books from Karen Slaughter, Randall Silvis and Nicholas Sparks. Check our website anytime for new movies and books.

If you are looking for non-fiction, we have the new “Handcrafted” by Clint Harp of “Fixer Upper” from HGTV. We also have new books from other celebrity authors such as Michelle Obama and Sally Fields.

Let us know what you are looking for. We are always adding to our collections in every genre’.

Come get inspired by one of our many cook books. If you are looking for a good soup, stew or casserole recipe to warm you up, we have it here! We also have plenty of vegan or vegetarian cook books.

Remember to come in and sign up for one of our craft workshops. Our winter workshops will be on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Thanks to all who joined us for aromatherapy craft. Our next workshop will be on February 21st. This workshop is free and will feature a winter seasonal craft!

We have more than just books! You can also borrow movies, magazines, music CDs, play aways or books on CD. We have a variety of materials for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Our children’s corner features books, games, toys and coloring supplies. Join us for pre-school story hour on Saturday mornings at 10am followed by kids craft activities at 11am. Thanks again to all the kids who made ice cycles and snowflakes for the trees in our front windows.

The website’s “power library” includes references, bibliographies and related articles on chosen topics. There are also a variety of e-books and free access to universal classes for over 500 subjects!
