CONNEAUTVILLE - We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. And for all of the deer hunters out there we hope you were successful. This is the time of year we get busy going in a lot of different directions. Remember to take time to enjoy your family and friends.

The theme for Story time was “Native Americans”. We had a teepee set up and made vests. Everyone chose an Indian name. Miss Julie is blessed with so much creativity! She loves the children and we appreciate the investment she makes in their lives. Thank you, Julie!

We are once again competing with the community of Linesville in the “Pay it Forward” Christmas decorating contest. Votes are $1.00 each. Be sure to drive or walk around town to check out the displays and vote for your favorite. The donations benefit several different charities. Last year Conneautville received more votes than Linesville and we would like to retain our bragging rights!

If you need something to get into the holiday spirit stop in to the library and check out our books, DVD’s, and music. We have an extensive variety to choose from.

Story time continues on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 if you would like to join us.

With the colder weather now would be a good time to come in and see the new books we have added to our collection. There are several new Christmas selections for you to enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate or tea and get you in the holiday spirit.

Our holiday books are now on display. If you are needing inspiration for a holiday meal or you just want to relax with a good, cozy holiday story, we have what you are looking for.

You may have received our annual fundraising letter in the mail. We appreciate any support you are able to give. Your support enables the library to continue offering programming and valuable resources to the community. We consider it a privilege to be part of the community and we look forward to serving you for many years to come.
