SPRINGBORO - Remember to stop by for one of our craft workshops. We create crafts on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.

Come join us for our annual Day Before Thanksgiving Soup & Sandwich Supper at the Springboro VFD Social Hall on Wednesday, November 21, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. There will be 4 soups to choose from; Vegetable Beef, Bean & Ham, Chicken Noodle and Broccoli-Cauliflower-Cheese. Sandwich choices are ham & cheese or egg salad. Meal includes your choice of soup, sandwich, pie and beverage for $7.00. We’ll also have a bake sale and holiday bazaar. See our circulation desk at the library for details or if you would like to donate a pie or homemade craft. This event is a community favorite and one of our biggest fund raising events. Everyone is welcome! All proceeds benefit the library.

Check out our selection of books and magazines, or borrow movies, music CDs, playaway audio books, or books on CD. We have a variety of materials available for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or to use the internet and wi-fi in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

CONNEAUTVILLE - Happy Thanksgiving! May the time you spend with family and friends be blessed. We have much to be grateful for here at the library. We are thankful for our patrons and for the support you give us. It is a pleasure being part of the community. We will be closed Thursday, November 22, for Thanksgiving.

We had our own little pumpkin patch for Story time this week. After choosing their pumpkin, Miss Julie and Kortney helped the children decorate the pumpkins to look like turkeys. They were adorable! Story time continues on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 if you would like to join us.

Thank you to everyone that came out and made our “Thirty-One” party a success! Several people dropped in to place orders and visit with one another.

With the colder weather now would be a good time to come in and see the new books we have added to our collection. There are several new Christmas selections for you to enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate or tea and get you in the holiday spirit.

Our holiday books are now on display. If you are needing inspiration for a holiday meal or you just want to relax with a good, cozy holiday story, we have what you are looking for.

You may have received our annual fundraising letter in the mail. We appreciate any support you are able to give. Your support enables the library to continue offering programming and valuable resources to the community. We consider it a privilege to be part of the community and we look forward to serving you for many years to come.
