Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - Wow, it has been a busy summer full of fun and learning at Stone Memorial Library. The summer library challenge ended on July 31st with a family picnic at Lord Mason Park. Miss Julie did a fabulous job with games, food, and prizes! We are blessed to have such a dedicated teacher and friend for our families. We would also like to thank all the moms and caregivers who so willingly help with the activities. We’d also like to thank the borough for allowing us to use the park for our program. While there may be those who only focus on the negative side of things, I would like to say that the community really did come together for our children.

Get ready kindergarten teachers. We have graduated SIX boys and one girl from our Boot Camp this year. Our special guest reader this year was Mr. Jardina, Principal of Conneaut Valley Elementary School. Hopefully, the children have gained some much needed skills to help them be successful in school.

With summer activities drawing to a close we are focusing on the fall. We are hoping to add some new activities for our patrons. If you would like to share any ideas with us we would be glad to hear from you. It is a priority for us to offer the programs and services our patrons would support.

Stone Memorial Library is located at 1101 Main Street in Conneautville. Hours are Monday & Friday 1 - 6, Tuesday & Thursday 9 - 6, and Saturday 9 – 1. We can be reached at 587-2142. Be sure to LIKE us – Stone Memorial Library – on facebook.

The summer teen reading group is meeting at 2:00 on Tuesday afternoons. Miss Dare has planned some interesting discussions and crafts for you. We also have a gift bag especially for the teens to enter to win. We encourage you to join us and bring a friend.
