SPRINGBORO - Spring brings more events and activities to the library! We are planning crafts, a community banquet and our summer reading program is in the works!

The library has more to offer than ever! We have more than books! Check out magazines, movies, music CDs, play aways and books on CD. We have a variety of materials for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. In addition, our children’s corner features books, games and toys.

Join us for pre-school story hour on Saturday mornings at 10 am and for kids activities at 11 am.

Library hours are : Monday through Thursday, 12:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - “LIBRARIES ROCK” is the theme for our Summer Library Challenge this year and we are very excited to offer many musical, fun-filled, interesting activities! Once again we will be meeting at Lord Mason Park in Conneautville at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, June 19th – July 31st. Registration begins June 11th at the library. The following is a list of our scheduled events.

June 19: Jennifer Dennehy, hoop dance artist from Erie

June 26: Rocking out with ROCKS!

THURSDAY, June 28: Joe & Becky Matczak at Rolling Fields Elder Community Courtyard

July 3: Erie Philharmonic “Instrumental Petting Zoo”

July 10: Erie Zoo Program

July 17: CASH Marching Band

July 24: Magical Musical Magic Show with Steve Haberman

July 31: Family Activities and Picnic with grand prizes and book give-aways

Funding for programming is provided by Erie/Crawford District Services.

Saturday, June 9, the American Girl Club will be meeting. Bring your doll, and a friend, and join us at 10:00 a.m. for crafts and snacks.

Book Club will be meeting Thursday, June 21, at 6:30 p.m. We are reading “The Wednesday Letters” by Jason F. Wright. If you need a copy of the book stop by and request one at the library. We always enjoy our discussions and it is a great way to connect with others.

As the school year comes to a close we would like to encourage families to come to the library through the summer months. In addition to checking out books, we have a nice supply of building materials and puzzles available to provide free family fun.

Stone Memorial Library is open Monday & Friday 1-6, Tuesday & Thursday 9-6, and Saturday 9-1. We are located at 1101 Main Street, Conneautville and you can reach us at 587-2142.
