CONNEAUTVILLE - We will be offering a Baby sitting Class for anyone in 6th grade and up. You must have a library card and a valid email address to participate. This course will be offered in two sessions and would normally cost $75.00 but through the library there will be no charge. The class will be Monday, May 6, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Please call the library if you are interested.
On Tuesday, May 7, story time will be all about creating May Day baskets and delivering them to the community. We hope you will be able to join us as we walk through town and spread a little cheer from the library. Miss Julie has several fun “Spring Shenanigans” planned for the weeks ahead. We would love for you to join us on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Our crocheting & knitting continues to meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00. This is a nice time of visiting and working on our projects. Feel free to bring your project and join us.
Our WiFi service has been upgraded and you now need a password to log on. We have posted the password on the window and door of the library.
Technology classes are available at the library. If you need help with your iPad, phone, computer, or any other electronic device, call the library and we can set up a class for you.

Springboro Library happenings
SPRINGBORO - We are ready for May! This month we will feature great books for Mother’s Day and Armed Forces Day.
Now that our weather is getting warmer, it’s time to put your patio back together and enjoy reading there! We have all the books and magazines you need for back yards, container gardening and patios.
Check out the “New Book” shelves at the front of the library for your favorite top rated authors. This week we are featuring books by Sharon Sala, Clive Cussler and Phillip Margolin.
Mark us on your calender for our annual “Memorial Day and Alumni dinner at the Springboro Community Center. We are also planning our annual book sale!
Come sign up for one of our craft workshops. We regularly do crafts on the 3rd Thursday of each month. There is also a kid’s craft. Our main desk will have a sign up sheet. Feel free to call us with any questions. Or just come down and sign up!
Remember, we also have audio books to check out. Our rotating collection has all your favorite, best selling authors. The play aways include titles for all ages. They only require headphones to listen to your favorite novels on tape.
Check our website or facebook anytime for craft workshops, new movies and books. And let us know if you have an idea for a new craft, book or movie. We are always planning and adding to our collections in every genre’.
Libraries have more than just books! You can also borrow movies, magazines, music CDs, play aways or books on CD. We have a variety of materials and activities for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
Our children’s corner features books, audio books, games, toys and coloring supplies. Join us for pre-school story hour on Saturday mornings at 10am followed by kids craft activities at 11am.

The website’s “power library” includes references, bibliographies and related articles on chosen topics. There are also a variety of e-books and free access to universal classes for over 500 subjects!
