A COMMUNITY PLACE! - Come in and check out a book, DVD, music CD, read the paper, work a puzzle, make copies, bring the children to our fun children’s section, send or receive a fax, and much more to choose from! The Springboro Public Library is a perfect meeting place for all ages.

PRESCHOOL STORY HOUR WILL RESUME IN THE FALL

Springboro Public Library and Art socialsw-tac Fundraising Painting event! We’re Painting “TULIPS” at the Library. Think you can’t paint – Yes You Can! Join us to create your very own painting, Thursday, June 18, 5:30 p.m. at Springboro Library! The cost if paid by June 11, and is $30, after the 11th the cost is $35. Retired Art teacher and SPL Board member Lynda Proctor will lead participants step by step through the process to create this beautiful acrylic painting. All materials provided by artsocialsw-tac for your use to create a finished masterpiece which is yours to keep. All reserved seats must be paid in advance at the library circulation desk or on the web at artsocialsw-tac.weebly.com.

Our Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero Has a Story” will begin Saturday, June 20. It will run until Sat., July 25. We have some fun programs planned throughout the program like Grannies Ark, A Magician, and Miss Betsy and Friends just to name a few!

It will begin with a Create Your Very Own Super Hero Cape craft. Sign up at the circulation desk.

On Sat., June 27, Grannies Ark will bring their mobile Petting Zoo to the Springboro Park to provide children and adults a hand on experience with animals. Time is 11:00 - 1:00.

On July 9, attend to see Magic Steve’s half hour show after which he will create custom balloon sculptures that will last long after his show from 5 - 7 p.m.

On Sat., July 11, canvas painting of super heros will take place from 11:00 - 1:00. Sign up at the desk.

On Sat., July 18, patrons can create a super hero stepping stone with Miss Tina, again from 11:00 - 1:00, signing up at the desk.

Saturday, July 25, is the closing program with Miss Betsy putting on a musical puppet show w ith interactive dancing and singing for all ages. Time is from 11:00 - 1:00.

Stone Memorial Library presents, “The Magic of Reading Show” with the magic and comedy of Jeff Allan Vandewoff. Tuesday, June 23rd 11:00 am at Lord Mason Park.

CONNEAUTVILLE - Summer Reading has begun but it’s not too late to sign up. Events planned include Tuesday, June 16, PRE-K thru 6th grade begins at 10:00 a.m. 7th Grade thru Adult begins at 11:15 a.m.
