Fallowfield United Methodist Church is serving dinner for the Crawford County Dairy Princess competition at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 23. This annual pageant offers girls the opportunity to promote the dairy industry at events throughout the coming year. You will see Crawford County Dairy Princesses at parades and fairs, among other places.
I’m sorry to tell you that the Atlantic community has lost a lovely lady. Jane Campbell passed away recently. She was a sweet, gentle woman who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Her memorial service was held at Fallowfield United Methodist on Friday, May 9.
She attended Fallowfield United Methodist. I sang Christmas carols with friends from church at Jane’s home last year. She smiled from ear-to-ear the whole time, even though we arrived well after 8 p.m. She was totally exhausted and needed to get to bed, but she never said a word. She beamed and thanked us for coming. She was a sweetie and will be sadly missed.
