SPRINGBORO - 2016 Summer Reading Challenge – Now to July 21st - ON YOUR MARK, GET SET...READ! Children, ages preschool to 18, and adults are welcome to participate. Library hours are: Monday 12 noon – 8 p.m. Tuesday 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday 12 noon – 8 p.m. Thursday 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Special Family Events on Saturdays in June and July: Stepping Stones on Saturday, June 18th @ 11 am; Jazzercise on Saturday, June 25th @ 11 am; Tamarack Birds of Prey on Saturday, July 9th @ 11 am; Granny’s Ark during the Sesquicentennial Celebration on Saturday, July 16th @ 11 am at the Springboro Park; Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited. Playscape storytime for Pre-K once a week! Yoga, Crafts, and more for the whole family! Teens and tweens can participate in creating a game board, “Springboro-opoly” in honor of the community’s Sesquicentennial celebration! Adults are invited to attend the “Chat and Read Cafés”. Read and track minutes to Earn Rewards! The more you read, the more chances to earn prizes!

All events are free. Space is limited so pre-registration for adult craft programs is requested. We are located at 110 South Main Street, Springboro, PA. Hours are Monday and Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - Summer Library Challenge 2016 registration will begin June 13, for ages preschool thru high school. The program starts June 21st and goes thru August 9th. We have the following special events scheduled. June 21- Lakeside Dance Demonstration, June 28 - Erie Zoo Visit , July 5 -Hula Hooping By Jennifer Dennehy and July 12 - Balloon art and magic with Magic Steve. More events to be announced. As always it is free and everyone is welcome. Mark your calendars and save Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. to meet at Lord Mason Park.

Reading will earn readers tickets for grand prize drawings and certificates. You can read to yourself or have someone read to you. You can read e-books, newspapers,online stories ,magazines, graphic novels, books etc.

New this year will be a Book Club For Tweens, held Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00. We will discuss a book of your choice, have a snack and games. Be sure to sign up.
