Springboro Library happenings
November 2015 Happenings! We are very thankful to all our patrons and visitors who choose to use the library often! Our shelves are being renplenished often for your next adventuresome story, from traditional books to a new “Playaway” rotation collection.
Come in and check out a book, DVD, music CD, read the paper, work a puzzle, make copies, bring the children to our fun children’s section, send or receive a fax, and much more to choose from! The Springboro Public Library is a perfect meeting place for all ages.
The library will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, for Veteran’s Day. Thank a Veteran today! Please use the book drop for your returns.
Preschool Story Hour is on Wednesday, Nov. 18th at 10:30 a.m. We will read a story, create a fall craft, and enjoy a snack together!
Senior Cafe will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Please drop by for a cup of coffee, a scone, read the paper, and enjoy some fun visiting with other senior patrons and guests!
Adult and Teen Craft events are here! Thursday November 12th, and 19th at 6:00 p.m. We will create a Bird House on the 12th for display at our Annual Day Before Thanksgiving Soup & Sandwich Supper; and a Fall Burlap Jar Craft on the 19th! Please sign up at the circulation desk or call to reserve your seats.
Family Craft Saturday! Bring the whole family in and create a fall craft together! Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m.
Join us the day before Thanksgiving for the Springboro Public Library’s Annual Day Before Thanksgiving Soup & Supper, Holiday Bazaar, and Bake Sale on Wednesday, November 25th from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Springboro Fire Department Social Hall. Stone Memorial Library
CONNEAUTVILLE - Story Hour will be held Tuesday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m. There will be fun stories, snacks to eat and craft to make. All Pre-School children are welcome to join in.
The Book Club will meet on November 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The book of choice is “Big Stone Gap” by Adriana Trigiani. Stop in to the library to sign up and borrow a copy of the book.
