SPRINGBORO - We have planned several activities for the month.

Pre-K storytime continues every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. At 11 am, elementary aged kids can join us for craft time. Parents can read and enjoy a hot beverage in the periodical cafe’. Winter puzzles are also there for all ages.

The library has tons to offer! We have books, magazines, movies, music CDs, playaways and books on CD. There is a variety of fun for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. In addition, our children’s corner features books, games and toys. And stop by to see our “Vintage Holiday” displays.

Library hours are : Monday 12 noon - 8 p.m. Tuesday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday 12 noon - 8 p.m. Thursday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - Usually at the beginning of the new year people want to make some resolutions for the year ahead. Why not make having more family time one of your resolutions this year?We have many activities that are family friendly at the library and the really great part of it is - they are all free! Puzzles, games, coloring, and several different building items to choose from. Come in and take advantage of the many resources we have.

Story time continues on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. with Miss Julie. Story time is always filled with fun. Miss Julie has songs, crafts, games, and exciting stories to share.

Remember to mark your calendars for the second Saturday of the month for Legos @ the Library or our American Girl Club. Both of these programs begin at 10:00. Call for more information if needed.

Thursday, January 18, the book club will be meeting. We are reading “Into the Water” by Paula Hawkins this month. Join us at 6:30 for our discussion.

January 15, is Martin Luther King, Jr. day. Come in and check out our display of books which includes a new set of graphic novels titled “March” written by John Lewis. Dr. King would have been 89 years old on January 15.

We were pleased to participate in the Pay It Forward contest in December. Thank you to everyone who took the time to check out the decorations and vote for their favorite charity. There were many good charities to support. A big congratulations to the Conneautville Hardware for being the winner! They had a beautiful window. Their donations went to the Shriner’s Hospital. We look forward to competing again next year.
