SPRINGBORO - Preschool Story Hour is every Saturday morning at 10 am. Children’s Activity Time takes place at 11 am on Saturdays and after school every Thursday. Parents are welcome to sit in our Periodical Cafe’ to read and enjoy tea or coffee.

We will host our “Periodical Café” through the holidays. Stop in for a cup of coffee, treats, and enjoy a great time being thankful with friends.

Thursday- November 30, we will host a holiday craft workshop! This event is for all ages!!

We have NEW Saturday HOURS! Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Activities are free but space is limited, please pre-register by calling or visiting the library circulation desk. We are located at 110 South Main Street in Springboro. Hours are Monday and Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The library offers free access to e-books and to universal class. With a course catalog of over 500 online classes, Universal Class provides affordable and high quality continuing education.

Book club will be held the second Thursday of every month at 2 pm for Fall.

With your library card, you can also earn free continuing education credits through Universal Class or access free test preparation and practice exams for high school, college entrance, professional certification and licensing, military and civil service through the Testing & Education Reference Center.

CONNEAUTVILLE - We hope that everyone had a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving! We’d like to send a BIG Thank you to all of the local patrons, that received our letter through the mail, and donated their time and money to the Library. We are extremely grateful for your generosity.

November 28 - We will have a Thirty-one Fund-raiser in the Library, from 9 - 6 pm. Come on out and take a look at the neat items!

Story time with Miss Julie, is Tuesday at 10 am, but we want to remind everyone that if the school has a 2 hr delay or is closed, story time will be cancelled. Story Time is a great way to get your little one introduced to other children, loving the library and fun!

December 9th, is American Girl Club day at 10 am. We’re going to talk about The American Girl Doll Kirsten, and her Christmas Story. We will also talk about Saint Lucia day ( which is December 13th.) There will be a craft and a snack! Bring your dolls and a friend.

We’d like to also remind everyone that the library is a great resource, we don’t just have books. We have DVD’s, and magazines, audio books, and Playaways. We have computers available to the public and free wifi for your mobile gadgets. In addition to the materials, we also provide several programs for everyone in the family.

Adults can participate in reading groups and take advantage of Universal classes online with over 500 subjects to choose from.
