SPRINGBORO - We’re rolling with “Fantastic Fall 2017” here at Springboro Library! There are more activities planned this month.

Join us in our Fall Periodical Cafe’ with a hot beverage and your favorite book, magazine or newspaper. There will be craft activities, fun food creations, games, challenges and snacks for everyone.

On Tuesday, November 14, we will hold an edible, candy turkey craft workshop at 6 pm for kids of all ages! On Thursday, November 16, at 4:00 p.m., enjoy “Pamper yourself” aromatherapy craft . This workshop features spicy, fall essential oils and educates on how to make an aromatic bath treat. All ages are welcome as we have kid’s activities in our children’s corner.

Thursday, November 30, will round out the workshops for Fall. There will be a “Holiday Craft Workshop”. This event is for all ages! And the fall workshops are free!!!!

For the kids, pre-school story time continues at 10 am every Saturday, followed by “create time” at noon with activities and crafts for older kids. Also, every Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm, we will have after school activities with snacks and learning fun!

Remember to buy a ticket for the “Soup and Sandwich Supper”. Our Fall fundraiser takes place on November 22, (the day before Thanksgiving) from 4:30- 7:00 pm and features homemade soups, sandwiches and pies. There will also be prize drawings and pies for sale to take home for the holiday.

Take advantage of all the library offers. We currently have music CDs, playaways, books, books on CD, magazines, movies and more! There is something for everyone. Patrons are welcome to come in to relax and read or to use the library’s public internet or wi-fi.

All events are free and the library is located at 110 South Main Street in Springboro, PA.

Library hours are : Monday 12 noon - 8 p.m. Tuesday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday 12 noon - 8 p.m. Thursday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Book club will be held the second Thursday of every month at 2 pm for Fall.

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - Book club selection is “Nineteen Minutes” by Jodi Picoult - we will be meeting Thursday, November 16, at 6:30 pm.

We will be having three special events in November. On Nov. 9, we are offering a craft class. The “ Crafty Capers” will help us design gift tags & bags and a surprise craft for the holidays. On Nov. 20, at 4:00 pm we are offering a computer/gadget class for anyone who may need help. And on Nov. 28, we are hosting a “Thirty- One” open house with all the proceeds going to the library. Please stop in and sign-up for the classes, class size is limited for the computer class.

Story time continues each Tuesday at 10:00. Miss Julie keeps us busy with stories, songs, crafts and snacks. Story time is always a great time with family and friends!

We also want to remind everyone that the library is a great resource in the community. Along with books we have DVD’s, magazines, and audio books. We also have computers available to the public and WiFi. In addition to the materials we also offer several programs for everyone in the family.
