SPRINGBORO - It’s “Fantastic Fall 2017” here at Springboro Library! We are planning a pre-holiday season packed full of fun!

On Tuesday, October 24, we will hold our “Spooky Puppet” workshop at 6 pm for kids of all ages! On Thursday, October 26, at 4:00 p.m., enjoy “Electric Junction” presented by Northwestern REC. This demonstration utilizes a portable tabletop unit to educate children on how to be safe around electricity. Costumes are welcome since it will be the same day as trick-or-treat in Springboro.

It’s fun for the whole family from 4 to 7 p.m. every day from October 24th to October 31st. There will be craft activities, fun food creations, games, challenges and snacks for everyone!

For the kids, pre-school story time continues at 10 am every Saturday, followed by “create time” at noon with activities and crafts for older kids. Also, every Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm, we will have after school activities with snacks and learning fun!

The library has more to offer than ever! We currently have music CDs, playaways, books, books on CD, magazines, movies and more! There is something for everyone. Patrons are welcome to come in to relax and read or to use the library’s public internet computers or wi-fi.

All events are free and the library is located at 110 South Main Street in Springboro, PA.

Library hours are : Monday 12 noon - 8 p.m. Tuesday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday 12 noon - 8 p.m. Thursday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Book club will be held the second Thursday of every month at 2 pm for Fall.

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - Story Time continues on Tuesdays @ 10 AM. There will be crafts, songs, interactive fun, stories with Miss Julie and maybe a new friend or two. Please tell your friends to come and join us! Baby to Pre-K are more than welcomed to join us!

The month of October, we are selling Mystery novels. Hard covers are $1.00 and Paperbacks are 4/ $1.00. If you love a good mystery, come on down and check out the selection.

Tuesday, October 24 at 10 am. Story time will have a guest this week, Miss Julie will be busy, so Miss Melissa will be in to talk about “Bees.” There will be a craft, story and snack as usual. Tell a friend and see you there!

Friendly Reminder, that pie/stromboli orders will need to be picked up on October 24, Tuesday Morning. If this arrangement doesn’t work for you, let us know at the library.

We also want to remind everyone that the library is a great resource in the community. Along with books we have DVD’s, magazines, and audio books. We also have computers available to the public and WiFi. In addition to the materials we also offer several programs for everyone in the family.
