SPRINGBORO - The library has more to offer than ever! We currently have books, magazines, movies, music CDs, playaways and books on CD. We have a variety of materials for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Library hours are: Monday 12 noon - 8 p.m., Tuesday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Wednesday 12 noon - 8 p.m., Thursday 2 p.m. -8 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday summer hours 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. will start on June 24.

With your library card, you can also earn free continuing education credits through Universal Class or access free test preparation and practice exams for high school, college entrance, professional certification and licensing, military and civil service through the Testing & Education Reference Center.

CONNEAUTVILLE - We have had a fabulous summer at the library! Our Summer Reading Challenge concluded last Tuesday with a family picnic in the park. The winners of our gift bags were as follows: Pymatuning Deer Park - Averi Wolf, Erie Zoo – Allison Bland, Splash Lagoon – Mason Samuels, ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum – Brenden Loughner, and Movies @ Meadville – Caleb Marwood. Congratulations to the winners and THANK YOU EVERYONE for participating.

Our first ever Kindergarten Boot Camp was a special time for Miss Julie and Miss Pam. It was a joy to get to know the children and to help prepare them for what lies ahead in school. So much potential lies within each of them.

We, at Stone Memorial Library, are so thankful to be part of the community. We are blessed to have a beautiful park in which to have our events The support of our neighbors and friends is very much appreciated. The National Night Out was a big success. Allen Clark did an excellent job organizing the event. It brought our summer theme of “Build a Better World” come to life.

As you may have noticed we are having some construction done on our building. Do not let the improvements we are making deter you from coming in. We are still open as usual.
