For Valentine’s Day, the Springboro Library will be hosting the first book club of the year. We will be enjoying chocolates and sharing our favorite books. Adults can sign up at the front desk. The club will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.

The library has more to offer than ever! We currently have books, magazines, movies, music CDs, playaways and books on CD. We have a variety of materials for the whole family. Patrons are welcome to come in and read or use the internet in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. In addition, our children’s corner features books, games and toys.

Tax forms are now available. We have federal and state forms.

The library offers free access to universal classes for over 500 subjects now! And remember to like us on facebook!

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - It’s tax season - come into Stone Memorial to pick up any tax forms you’ll need (they’re just to the right of the main door).

Be sure to join Miss Julie for story time. We are taking a break from winter and having a beach party! It is sure to be a good time with games, crafts, stories, and snacks. Story time is Tuesday at 10:00 am.

February is “ Bring Your Family to the Library” month. If you haven’t come in to the library recently, now would be a good time to stop in and see what we have to offer. We have started two new programs on Saturdays for the kids. Legos meets the 2nd Saturday of the month and American Girl Club meets the 3rd Saturday of the month. Both programs begin at 10:00 am.

This February, Stone Memorial will be hosting a 6-Week Reading Challenge! Adult readers can enter a prize drawing by reading books from a variety of categories, and earn a chance at a gift basket. The Challenge will take place beginning February 20th and run through March 27th - come in to sign up (it’s not too early to start reading now)!

Please note that as winter becomes a concern, Story Hour will be postponed on any day that schools have 2-hour delay. Stay safe and stay warm!

Also, for the adults, we have a Book Club coming up on Thursday, March 9th at 6:30 pm. We will be reading A Man Called Ove. Stop in to request a copy. Stone Memorial Library is open Monday & Friday 1 - 6 pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9 am - 6 pm, and Saturday 9 am - 1 pm. Phone number is 587-2142.
