Springboro Library happenings

SPRINGBORO - Check out our Pre-K storytime on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Join Ms. Ginger for a fun and interactive story hour designed just for toddlers.

We’re offering after school activities for tweens and teens on Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Play the x-box or computer, enjoy a snack, or play board games and relax at the library.

We have a great variety of books and materials for the whole family! Check out a new book or magazine, a relaxing story to read with toddlers, bedtime story for young children, creative story for older children, adventure story for active teens, and an inspiring story for adults or check out the latest movie or audiobook! With your library card, you can also earn free continuing education credits through Universal Class or access free test preparation and practice exams for high school, college entrance, professional certification and licensing, military and civil service through the Testing & Education Reference Center.

CONNEAUTVILLE - The Book Club meeting for Wonder, by R. J. Palacio, will be held on December 1, at 6:30, the Thursday after Thanksgiving. Books are still coming in on loan; stop and get yours when they do!

Please also note that Christmas crafts books are now out. As the holidays roll in, stop by, pick one up, and get busy! Look for ideas for house and tree decorations, gift wrapping, Christmas dinner, and much more. On the cart are books to borrow; by the door are books for sale (leave donation).

Last but not least, please do stop in and take a tag from the Giving Tree to lend a hand to Stone Memorial. We would love any items such as jumbo markers, stamps, mailing tape, or card stock and post-its. Take a Giving Tree bookmark with you when you go!

Please note that as winter becomes a concern, Story Hour will be postponed on any day that schools have 2-hour delays. Stay safe and stay warm!

Stone Memorial Library is open Monday & Friday 1 - 6 pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9 am - 6 pm, and Saturday 9 am - 1 pm. Phone number is 587-2142. Like us on Facebook for updates and news, or visit our website @ This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
