November 2015 Happenings!
Annual Day Before Thanksgiving Soup & Sandwich Supper
Start your holiday celebration by joining Springboro Public Library for its Annual Day Before Thanksgiving Soup and Sandwich Supper. The event will be held at the Springboro Fire Department on Wednesday, November 25, from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m.
Treat yourself to some homemade soup and take a break from cooking and preparing for the big holiday meal. The dinner will feature three kinds of homemade soup; chicken noodle, vegetable-beef and ham & bean, add to that Ed’s firehouse chili, along with two kinds of sandwiches and homemade pie for dessert. Take out items for supper will also be available.
Handmade articles from local crafters are available on a arts and crafts table. These can be used as gifts or for decorating your holiday table or trimming your tree. Homemade holiday breads, pies, rolls and other dessert items are available to take home for your next day’s dinner. Start a new family tradition, you won’t be disappointed!
We are very thankful to all our patrons and visitors who choose to use the library often! Our shelves are being renplenished often for your next adventuresome story, from traditional books to a new “Playaway” rotation collection.
Come in and check out a book, DVD, music CD, read the paper, work a puzzle, make copies, bring the children to our fun children’s section, send or receive a fax, and much more to choose from! The Springboro Public Library is a perfect meeting place for all ages.

All events are free. Space is limited so pre-registration for adult craft programs is requested. We are located at 110 South Main Street Springboro, PA. Hours are Monday and Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

CONNEAUTVILLE - Story Hour will be held Tuesday, November 17, at 10:00 a.m. There will be fun stories, snacks to eat and crafts to make. All Pre-School children are welcome to join in.
The Book Club will meet on November 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The book of choice is “Big Stone Gap” by Adriana Trigiani. Stop in to the library to sign up and borrow a copy of the book.
