Springboro Public Library extends warm and colorful Autumn greetings to all our patrons!

Join us for Preschool Story Hour on Wednesday, October 7, for “Pumpkin Pumpkin” and Wednesday, October 21, for “The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin.” Story Time begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes a craft and a snack!

Springboro Public Library Fundraising Event! “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN’T PAINT...YES YOU CAN! Support your library and create your own unique work of art! Local artist Lynda Proctor will provide step by step instruction to assist you in painting “Autumn Sky.” (Even if you have never painted before.) This exciting event will be held on Thursday, October 15, at 6:00 p.m. in the library. All materials are provided. Seating is limited so register now! Pre-registration and $30.00 prepayment is required to attend. Contact the library at 814-587-3901 for more information.

Check out our books, DVDs, music CDs, magazines, audio books or new “PLAYAWAY” audio books to make your travel more enjoyable, stop in to read the paper or work a puzzle, make copies, send a fax, bring the children to our fun children’s section, or schedule your next meeting in the “Scott” room, and so much more!

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - The library would like to welcome Julie Klingler to the staff; she will be doing story hour at the library.

Story Hour will be held Tuesday, October 6, at 10:00 a.m.

There will be all sorts of fun things to see and do - stories, action songs and poems involving fire trucks. those attending will be teaching fire safety and prevention; along with making shape fire trucks. There will be fire hats for “every-buddy” and an activity road rug with vehicles. All area Pre-School children are welcome to join the story time.

This will be the last week for ther butterflies to be on display.

The Book Club will meet on October 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The book of choice is “The Dog That Danced” by Susan Wilson. Stop in to the library and sign up.

Library Hours are Monday 1:00 p.m -7:00 p.m, Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m., Friday 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m -12 :00 p.m
