A COMMUNITY PLACE! - Come in and check out a book, DVD, music CD, read the paper, work a puzzle, make copies, bring the children to our fun children’s section, send or receive a fax, and much more to choose from! The Springboro Public Library is a perfect meeting place for all ages.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day! Happy Memorial Day from the SPL Board and Staff!

Calling all preschool parents! We have our fun and exciting preschool story time with story, craft, and treats available for you on Wednesday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m.

New at the library: SPL Movie Night - Sign up at the circulation desk to watch the featured movie Thursday, May 21, at 5:30 p.m. Information on the movie selection can be found on the website or call the library for more information.

The Annual Book Sale! - The Book Sale starts Saturday, May 23, and runs through Saturday, May 30! Items available include: Hard Back Books, Paperback Books, Videos, Audio CD’s, Puzzles, and much more!

Springboro Public Library Fundraising Painting event! We’re Painting “TULIPS” at the Library. Think you can’t paint – Yes You Can! Join us to create your very own painting, Tuesday, June 16, at 6:00 p.m. The cost if paid by June 2, is $30, after the 2 the cost is $35. Retired Art teacher and SPL Board member Linda Proctor will lead participants step by step through the process to create this beautiful painting. All materials provided by artsocialsw-tac for your use to create a finished masterpiece which is yours to keep. All reserved seats must be paid in advance at the library circulation desk.

Our Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero Has a Story” will begin Saturday, June 20. We have some fun programs planned throughout the program like Grannies Ark, A Magician, and Miss Betsy and Friends just to name a few!

Stone Memorial Library

CONNEAUTVILLE - Story Hour will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. Theme is Hug Your Cat Day. We will be reading Mr. Pusskins and Little Whiskers, Never Let Your Cat Make Lunch For You and The Stray Kitten. This will be the last story hour for the school year.

It’s time to start thinking about signing up for the Summer Reading program: “Every Hero Has A Story” We would like to invite parents and kids to come and stop by our table at the Conneaut Valley Middle School’s 2nd annual “Night Under The Stars” On Thursday, May 14, from 4:00,p.m to 6:00 p.m.
