LINESVILLE – We all cringe at the thoughts of an active shooter incident happening anywhere, but we see these incidents occurring all across the United States too frequently.
The Conneaut School District will be testing their emergency plans and those plans with public safety agencies in an active shooter drill held at the Conneaut Area Senior High School (CASH) in Linesville.
The school district has an all-hazards emergency plan and they have conducted small drills while sitting around a table.
Now the district wants to see how their plans work with a simulated full-scale exercise involving an active shooter.
For the past year school district and public safety agencies have been meeting and going over the details of the exercise which is scheduled to start at 9:00 am on Wednesday, July 20, at CASH.
