Economic Alliance pushes 3 “R” plan for saving CL Park

The Economic Progress Alliance pushed a 3 “R” plan for saving Conneaut Lake Park at a public meeting held last week and attended by some 175 people.

The plan stressed Reorganize, Revision and Revitalize

Mark Turner, leader of the EPACC, in explaining a wide range of details also suggested a 10 year plan to achieve the goals.

Under Reorganize, he said the Economic Progress Alliance (EPACC) will serve as catalyst to transition governance from a volunteer dependent operational board to a board of trustees focused on setting, guiding and reviewing policies intended to preserve and strengthen the assets of Conneaut Lake Park for the benefit of the public...EPACC representatives (3) serving on Conneaut Lake Park Board of Trustees, will not comprise the majority of trustees so as to avoid the potential assumption of CLP obligations by EPACC.
