Life’s Rail

Life is like a mountain railroad
Winding through the hills and vales
Pulling into many stations
Gleaming life modes for tellable tales.

Life will take us where we direct
As long as we determine the rail
Remember one of life’s requisitions
Plan ahead or all of life’s games may fail.

Then as we go from station to station
And as we meet with many of our peers
We take time to exchange our stories
We find that life is not always as it appears.

Now as we leave the station
And once again are on the tails
We still strive to leave behind us
Interesting stories and knowledgeable tales.
