Fate

Oh fate so cruel and yet so kind
To take away the piece of mind
But not destroy the will to live
First to take and then to give.

To break a heart and then restore
So it can beat to love once more.
First the sun and then the rain
Thus life is tempered to the strain.

First to hate and then forgive
Reach despair, then learn to live.
Yes fate is cruel and yet it is kind
It teaches ‘til this life’s behind.
