Big Office—Little Man

Such a big office...such a little man in it.
If that doesn’t scare you, you’re beyond being scared.
Most everything you read confirms this,
Everything we hear is a duplication when it’s compared.

Past history leans on approval,
A high rating means he’s still in charge.
To most leaders you’re captain of a battleship,
Today’s leader couldn’t captain a barge!

The tragedy is that every day proves it
No matter what the situation be
Should he be talking to another world leader,
Or letting oil leak at the bottom of the sea.

The time for talking has long passed
We’ve heard what you say many times before.
Keep your billions which you don’t have.
Should our grandchildren be made to settle the score?
