Fall is here ...

An Ode To Autumn

When the Hunter’s Moon is rising
And a brisk breeze fills the air
The leaves on trees are turning
To bright colors everywhere.

All around are the scents of Autumn
A season to which none can compare.

On the farm the farmer is working
To harvest corn, oats, wheat and hay
And from the orchard and the garden
Fruit and vegetables a re on display.

To be preserves with the best of care
To feed man and beast on a cold winter day.

Now in the middle of Autumn
When hard work brought us to this time
We must stop and look at Autumn’s wonders
Or life “ain’t worth a solitary dime.”

Autumn is like a written poem
All the parts come together and all rhyme.
