I don’t pretend this is a masterpiece
It’s just poetry written as best I can
It does not have characters that claim fame
Such as Little Red Riding Hood or Peter Pan.

It’s just some words on paper that send a message
For any of you I have enticed to read
Let your face glow with the bright side of life
And let no day pass without a worthy deed.

So as you walk the crooked path of life
Try to embellish your face with a smile
If you will remember these few words on paper
They will help you enjoy each measured mile.
