WATERFOWL 2009 WINNERS - The 2009-10 Pymatuning Waterfowl Beauty pageant winners were chosen recently at Linesville High School. Crowned were, from left, row one - 2009 Waterfowl Little Princess Kylie Beck of Saegertown; crowned 2009 Tiny Miss Waterfowl was Kiersten Roncaglione of Linesville; and in back - crowned 2009 Little Miss Waterfowl was Kaitlyn Miller of Cochranton; crowned 2009 Miss Waterfowl and Talent winner was Rachael Shaw of Saegertown; crowned Senior Miss Waterfowl 2009 was Rose-Mary Giles of Linesville; and crowned 2009 Junior Miss Waterfowl and Essay winner was Michaela Morrell of Linesville. Watefowl pageant winners declaredThe 2009-10 Pymatuning Waterfowl Beauty Pageant winners were decided on August 22, at Linesville High School during two separate pageants. The morning pageant, featuring 2009 Miss Linesville, Loriann Vernier and 2008 Junior Miss Waterfowl as mistress of ceremonies welcomed 35 contestants from across Crawford and Ashtabula counties for the 'Tribute to our American Hero' theme. As representatives from the local fire department, military, police, and EMS escorted contestants to the stage, the judges were tasked with choosing only 3 ladies to walk away with crowns in the early pageant. Crowned 2009 Waterfowl Little Princess was Kylie Beck of Saegertown, a daughter of Luke and Brooke Beck. Little Princess first runner up was Makarra Whiteside of Linesville, second runner up was Alaina Bickel of Linesville and the Community Choice winner was Elizabeth Koffman of Meadville. Crowned 2009 Tiny Miss Waterfowl was Kiersten Roncaglione of Linesville, a daughter of Todd and Maria Roncaglione. Tiny Miss first runner up was Lexyannah Grebiner of Linesville, second runner up was Camdyn Seman of Shermansville and the Community Choice winner was Alyssa Redden of Conneautville. Crowned 2009 Little Miss Waterfowl was Kaitlyn Miller of Cochranton, a daughter of Bryan and Amanda Miller. Tiny Miss first runner up was Elizabeth Vittorio of Meadville, second runner up and Community Choice winner was Saige Karastury of Conneaut Lake. The 2009 evening Waterfowl pageant welcomed 14 contestants and more special guests from throughout the community to say thank you for all of the sacrifices that our American heros make everyday, and featuried mistress of ceremonies, Cassandra Garrison from Action News 24 and Fox 66 News. Crowned 2009 Junior Miss Waterfowl and Essay winner was Michaela Morrell of Linesville, a daughter of Andrew and Monica Whiteside and Jason and Nicole Morrell. Junior Miss first runner up and Miss Congeniality was Melanie Steigerwald of Springboro, second runner up was Rebecca Rendulic of Conneaut Lake and Community Choice winner was Elizabeth Norrix of Meadville. Crowned 2009 Miss Waterfowl and Talent winner was Rachael Shaw of Saegertown, a daughter of Christine and Brian Shaw. Miss first runner up and Community Choice winner was Katie Roncaglione of Linesville, second runner up and Essay winner was Aerial Albaugh of Linesville, and Congeniality winner was Kayla Hewitt of Conneautville. Senior Miss Waterfowl 2009 was Rose-Mary Giles of Linesville. |
