Join the thousands who will visit the 29th Annual Ducks Unlimited Pymatuning Waterfowl & Outdoor Expo in Linesville,September 18th and 19th, this Saturday and Sunday. See schedule inside this issue or see, details of the expo at the Expo’s new website http://www.pymatuningexpo.com This year the event will be kicked off with a “Sportsman’s Night Out” at St. Philips Social Hall on Friday evening September 17th. Tickets for this “Must Attend Event” for the sportsmen are available online at http://www.ducks.org and must be purchased by September 16th. (Replace (at sign) with @)* Saturday morning begins with the annual Expo Parade, sponsored by Linesville Chamber of Commerce, at 10 am. The Expo, held at Linesville High School, opens at 10 a.m. Featured events for Saturday will include the Expo Decoy Carving contest (judging begins at noon) and the Pennsylvania Duck Stamp (competition starts at 1pm). The Ducks Unlimited Auction will be held at St. Philip’s Social Hall and the doors will open at 5pm. Come and enjoy the fun and who knows, you may walk away with a gun! Food sales benefit the St. Phillips Social Hall. On Sunday, the Expo opens again at 10 am. Highlights for the day will include some of the region’s best waterfowl calling competing in the Expo Duck & Goose Calling Competition. The competition is open to both junior and senior divisions. Throughout the weekend you will enjoy outdoor related vendors, artwork by local and nationally renowned artists and some of the region’s best waterfowl carvers displaying their items. Join in the the seminar series featuring topics like duck and goose hunting secrets, decoy tactics, predator calling, and dog demos. Whether you are into hunting, wildlife, conservation, or just the great outdoors, this year’s festival will be something the whole family. The main events are located at the High School along with other activities throughout downtown Linesville and the Pymatuning Sportsmen’s Club. This annual event is sure to be something you will not want to miss.
