DONATIONS AT KNICKERBOCKER - For a second year in a row, Kate Hilton of Conneaut Lake, seated right, donated one of her paintings, this one of the old Oakland Hotel in Conneaut Lake that had a boat extended out from it that was used as a dance floor, cost 10¢ to get on it, with visitors to the Linesville Knickerbocker able to make a donation to the Keystone Blind Association, Meadville office, when they signed up for the drawing held Sept. 2. Donations totaled $150, up from $86 a year ago. Lucky winner of the painting was Faye J. Pleso of Farrell, PA.Wanda Smith, seated left, also took part in the drawing with Keystone rep, caseworker Heide Mumau, in back right, holding winner’s card. Knickerbocker owner Peg Knickerbockeer, left, drew lucky winner.
