It's way to hot to write an original column this week so, you will have to endure a rerun. Goodness get a hold of your emotions over this. Oh, there-there now, it's OK. Now calm down and let me mentally hug and comfort you over this whole thing. It will all work out in the end. There you go. You'll be fine. Here, let me get you a tissue.

Now that we've waded through that goose do do, (I wanted to stick with a local theme with the goose deal), I shall launch into this repeat from last year.

The following column actually takes me back as it's the one about my first solo camping excursion. As many of you are well aware, I'm now a camping maven and have no need for the top ten list below any longer. I can now rough it like the best of them.

Enjoy this rerun and if there is a break in this HIDEOUS, life-threatening and mood altering weather, I will pen something original next time. I know, heat has not one thing to do with the ability to pound out a column. It does, however, have plenty to do with my brain cells exiting my body via the rain forest that is my face.
