I need to let my dear, loyal readers know that I’m “dealing with some issues,” as the cliche goes. These “issues” are similar in nature to those that unfolded last year, right around this time.

Rather than going into coma inducing details, I shall direct you to the column that I wrote back then, which can be discovered at: www.communitynewslinesville.com, under “Lisa’s Rants and Raves.” I think the title has the word confessions in it. I'm so helpful.

The main problem is a touch of depression, which is not nearly as hideous as it was in 2010. I am thankful for that and, am grateful to the boss and to Roseanne for covering for me in terms of certain parts of my job description.

Because I am not doing too much along the lines of writing, such as covering meetings, etc., I will, more than likely, be relying on items from the vault until I regain some sense of normalcy--and stop that laughing right now! I know, I know, my “normal” is most of humanity’s insanity.

I was pretty close to having an original column ready for this time but, I simply couldn't go any further and since deadline was about 30 hours ago...well, you get the picture.

Therefore, the following is a column that I generally pull out from time to time as the subject matter still gets my rant-o-meter going full-force.

Enjoy and please, bear with me during this kind of blah time in my life.
