Internet forums are web sites where people get together and post information and comments about topics of common interest to the forum members. Forums are, in short, popular gathering places for people with similar interests.
There are forums based on virtually any area of interest. They are usually sub divided into relevant areas of discussion as well.
It’s kind of an elongated chat. Once you find a forum that suits your particular interest, you create an account for yourself. Usually a username/nickname and an email address is all that’s necessary, but there are always options to add more personal information and a photo or iconic image.

I recently posted to the Linesville section, which is not real active, expecting no one to notice. My post got 13 comments and 421 views, plus I was welcomed into the EETicket forum community like I was an old friend.
