Story Hour at the Stone Memorial Library is now directed by Kim Miller, pictured above. Kim, with the assistance of Mama and Papa Berenstain Bear, led this week’s Story Hour on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. If you missed it this week, don’t worry, Story Hour takes place every Tuesday at the same time.

Also joining Kim for Story Hour are preschoolers between the ages of 3 and 6 who like to do crafts, eat snacks and read some fun books for kids. This free weekly event is a great opportunity to introduce young children to books and the love of reading. Kim’s waiting for you!

Although telling you about Story Hour is important, I wanted to have an opportunity to introduce Kim as well. Some of you have met her already, but I was surprised to learn she is engaged to marry Josh Sherretts, the Curator of the Baldwin-Reynolds House in Meadville and past President of the Conneaut Valley Homecoming Association.

Kim and Josh met while she was working as a volunteer at the Baldwin-Reynolds House.

Kim’s interest in History is reflected in her degree choice as she recently graduated from Clarion University with a degree in History and a Concentration in Library Studies. Part of her coursework included Children’s Literature. She enjoyed that aspect of her studies and obviously still does.

If you aren’t able to join in at Story Hour, Kim will also be heading up the Summer Reading Program at the library, so stop in this Spring and hear more about that upcoming event and say, “welcome to Conneautville, Kim”.
