SNOW FUN - The weather certainly has been challenging this winter with the heavy snows in December, the rain and melting around New Year's and now over the past few days more snow and the coldest weather to date over this past weekend. Here a student at the Conneaut Valley Head Start class has fun riding a hill. Kids always seem to have fun no matter the weather.

We finally made it to the Linesville Library again. Telce had some great stories. We learned why we put long johns on when we play in the snow. We found out the different kinds of ice skates and how it is not as easy as it looks.

This was a fun week of counting and measuring. We found out that everyone has different sizes of hands and feet. And you can use many things to measure with. Rulers, tape measure, q-tips, paper clips are a few of the things. The children enjoyed measuring so much that we decided to do it more often. They all cheered.

We went outside everyday and made a snow bike. The children made three hills and had a lot of fun riding down the hills. They found it was not easy to get the sled on top of the hill without it leaving without them and it was hard to get on it when they did.
