We have a wonderful new addition to our room. Pugsley is a guinee pig that is now getting use to us. He is very shy and not sure of us so we are trying to be quiet and not scare him. Mr. Alex has been great with Pugsley. He is making sure his cage is cleaned out weekly.

What a great week we had. We built a robot out of boxes. The children worked with Mr. Chad and were able to add face features and other interesting aspects. They have painted one pink and were working on the other. These will be in the hall for everyone to appriciate. We still have to decide on names for both.

BABES is going well in the classroom. BABES is Beginning Alcohol and Addictions Basic Education Studies. The children are taught through puppets coping skills. Such as telling others when they need help, taking resposibilites for their own actions, learning to stop think and choose the best answer. The children love the puppets and want to make up their own stories.

Twin Creeks Head Start is currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. Head Start is an early childhood program-serving children ages 3-5 years of age.
