Hello, The last time I wrote my column, I answered a question from Mr. Hilton about a coin that he had. He also asked me about cleaning coins and wanted to know a good way to store them.

I wasn't able to answer those other questions before because I had so much information about the coin. So, this week I am going to supply a picture of good storage device. Also, I'm going to try and copy a chart that went along with the column last time, which had to do with the Franklin Half Dollars.

Well, that didn't work. I tried to copy the chart but had no luck. I will move on to talking about the storage of coins.

Personally, I don't have any problems with using those square cardboard holders with the clear plastic in the middle. These are basic and are about two inches square.

coin-storageSome people prefer to use a container that is a little more air tight. I am putting a picture in of one that is really great because the coins can go into nice little plastic storage containers and then, they fit into the box. This, and the other one I talked about are really my favorites.

There are so many ways to store your coins so I am going to give a link to a good site that shows a lot of them at the end of the column.

As far as cleaning the coins, I really don't recommend it, like I said last time, because I think you can do more harm than good.

That would be something that I would discuss with Mr. Biemer and/or Larry, of Larry's Coins in Jamestown.

Here is the link and thank you for reading Coin Corner. See you in a couple of weeks. www.coinsupplyexpress.com
