Hi folks.. I have 'Writer's Block' this Christmas. I have been SO busy chasing after my mama to make sure she doesn't blow anything up in the kitchen! She baked a lemon pie for Christmas for her kids...who are coming tomorrow. And I didn't have much time to write a column, so forgive me? The lemon pie was a success and she didn't blow it up. So far, she has done nothing wrong. She still has deviled eggs, sweet potatoes and dressing to go, however. There is no telling what she might do.

So, I sit on my butt by the kitchen door and watch. I am also ready to run just in case. I don't mean to make her sound like an idiot. She is not. She is just, hmmmmm, I don't know WHAT she is! Things just seem to 'happen' around mama. No offense to her.

I could tell you stories! But, I won't

Instead, I will wish you a wonderful Christmas...and a wonderful 2011. I hope to be writing for you for a long, long time.

Right now, I am typing, but when I am not? I sleep on the modem because it is warm. I keep stretching and pulling out plugs and wires and mama is very patient with me!. I pulled out the phone the other day...it is plugged into the computer. She should make me get down, but she doesn't. I curl up and wiggle around and settle in... right on top of the modem! I am the most spoiled cat in the world...I know that.

Ok..I am out of things to say. I hope this is not too short for publication, but I am so tired and so busy with my duties. I promise to have a nice column after the New Year.
